  3. Use the Rating Scale Provided: Most questions use a scale (e.g., Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Often, Always). Choose the option that best reflects your feelings.
  4. Consider Both Emotional and Physical Symptoms: Reflect not only on mood but also on sleep, energy, and daily functioning.
  5. Complete in a Quiet Setting: Take the test when you can focus without interruptions.
  6. Review Your Responses: Ensure your answers reflect your true experiences, not what you think others expect.
  7. Interpret Results Responsibly: The test is a screening tool, not a substitute for professional evaluation.
  8. Seek Help if Needed: If your results indicate possible postpartum depression, or if you experience overwhelming sadness, anxiety, or thoughts of self-harm, seek immediate support from a healthcare provider, counselor, or support group.
